Decima Carnival

Decima Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Decima Carnival took place in February in the hamlet of San Matteo della Decima, in the Municipality of San Giovanni in Persiceto (Province of Bologna), Emilia-Romagna. As tradition dictates, the two Sundays of parades brought transformable allegorical floats to the square with the famous "spillo", accompanied by dialect "zirudelle" and the speech of King Bean of Castella. The historic carnival societies competed for the jury's judgment, confirming the success of an event much loved by the public and the local community.
