De Linea Art Festival

The second edition of the De Linea Art Festival took place at the Certosa di Pontignano, in Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena), on May 3-4, 2025. Ten illustrators in residence — Francesco Poroli, Giovanna Giuliano, Matteo Berton, Gianluca Folì, Ale Giorgini, Anna Resmini, Alberto Lot, Davide Bonazzi, Daniela Tieni, and Jacopo Rosati — worked live, transforming the monastery into a collective creative laboratory.

Highlights included the lecture-performance by cartoonist Daniele Caluri, two poetic-illustrated performances by Alvalenti, and the central show "Routes and Trajectories", featuring improvisations between illustrators, musicians, and dancers. The "De Linea 25" competition involved students from the Duccio di Buoninsegna Art High School in Siena and the Papini Comprehensive Institute in Castelnuovo Berardenga, with an awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon. Daily admission was 10 euros full price, 8 euros reduced, and free for those under 14.
