Edition 2025 — Rice Pilaf Festival

In 2025, the De.Co. Rice Pilaf Festival enlivened the Castel d'Ario Festival Area for several weekends in May, featuring the town's signature dish, Mantuan culinary flavors, and evening musical entertainment, reaffirming its status as one of the province's most beloved gastronomic festivals.

The 2025 edition of the Rice Pilaf Festival once again celebrated the De.Co. rice pilaf in Castel d'Ario, served according to the traditional recipe at the Festival Area in the shadow of the castle. Alongside the signature dish, a rich menu of Mantuan specialties and alternative risottos, with dinner every evening and musical shows. Organized by Pro Loco Casteldariese, the festival renewed the bond between the town and its rice-growing tradition.
