The festival in 2025
In 2025, the poetry evenings at Lo Spigolo continued with the consolidated formula: no annual program, but events announced from time to time by the L'Idea Anarchist Library and named according to the day of the week they fell on. Among the documented dates is the WEDNESDAYPOET of April 2, 2025, preceded by other meetings in the months of February and March.
As always, the readings were held outdoors, at the crossroads between Via Braccio da Montone and Via Fanfulla da Lodi, in the Pigneto district of Rome. Free admission, open mic for anyone who wanted to bring their own verses, vegan food and drinks for a voluntary contribution to support the library's activity, open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5 PM at Via Braccio da Montone 71a.
2025 confirmed the festival's vocation: a space for spoken-word poetry, without selections or tickets, rooted in a neighborhood that is historically linked to poetry and storytelling.
