Edition 2025 — Davagna Chestnut Festival
In October 2025, the Davagna Chestnut Festival celebrated the chestnut season in the upper Val Bisagno. Roasted chestnuts, food stalls, and autumn flavours enlivened the village, attracting valley residents and Genoese visitors on day trips.
The 2025 edition of the Castagnata confirmed Davagna's autumn event, a municipality in the hinterland of Genoa. Among the roasted chestnuts, traditional dishes, and the convivial atmosphere of a village festival, the event highlighted chestnut culture and the hilly territory of the upper Val Bisagno, a short distance from the Ligurian capital.
