Edition 2025 — Dark MatterS

The second edition of Dark MatterS was held from February 14 to 16, 2025, at the Lavanderia a Vapore in Collegno, featuring over twenty events including shows, workshops, performances, and moments of reflection. The festival involved artists with disabilities and/or of Afro-descendant origin, celebrating darkness as a space-time for transformation.

The second edition of Dark MatterS, the winter festival at Lavanderia a Vapore in Collegno, offered a program of over twenty events including dance, immersive performances, workshops, and meetings. Notable shows included Figures by Dalila Belaza, Down – single version by Melissa Guex and Clément Grin, and A beginning #16161D by Pere Jou and Aurora Bauzà. Realized in collaboration with Black History Month Torino and the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, the festival invited the public to experience darkness firsthand, giving visibility to marginalized artists.
