DAP Festival 2025: the ninth edition

The ninth edition of the DAP Festival – Dance in Art in Pietrasanta took place from June 22 to July 5, 2025, confirming the festival as a reference point for contemporary dance in Versilia. The program offered 32 events, with 11 evenings at the Cloister of Sant'Agostino and the closing show at the Gran Teatro della Versiliana.

Among the featured companies were Spellbound Contemporary Ballet, Compagnia Zappalà Danza, and Equilibrio Dinamico by Roberta Ferrara. These were joined by 21 "invasions," short dance performances set in urban spaces such as Piazza Duomo, Piazza Stazione, and the pier of Marina di Pietrasanta. The intermediate and advanced level masterclasses were held by internationally renowned teachers such as Paola Cantalupo, Nicola Biasutti, and Marie-Agnès Gillot, former étoile of the Paris Opera.
