Edition 2025 — Dame in Sella

The second edition of Dame in Sella took place on Sunday, August 3, 2025, along Via Libertà in the historic center of Mistretta, as part of the Estate Amastratina program. Horsewomen paraded on horseback in elegant Sicilian costumes, with the procession led by the traditional cart and accompanied by the Gruppo Folk Amastra. The event was part of a festive weekend that also featured the Notte Bianca the previous day.

Dame in Sella 2025

The 2025 edition of Dame in Sella was held on Sunday, August 3 in Mistretta, along Via Libertà, organized by the Associazione Ippovia di San Sebastiano as part of the Estate Amastratina. The horsewomen paraded on elegant horses, showcasing equestrian skill and traditional Sicilian costumes.

The parade was led by the traditional Sicilian cart and accompanied by the songs and sounds of the Gruppo Folk Amastra, in an authentically island atmosphere that celebrated the role of women in equestrian culture. The event followed the Notte Bianca on August 2nd, transforming the historic center of Mistretta into an open-air theater and confirming the Nebrodi village as a place that, according to the organizers, "lives, welcomes, and tells its own story."
