Edition 2025 — Dahu Snowshoe Hike

During the winter of 2025, the G.S.R. Castel del Bosco once again hosted the Dahu Snowshoe Hike, the winter excursion in the municipality of Roure, Val Chisone. The non-competitive walk maintained its proven format: a 5-kilometer route from Castel del Bosco to the village of Garnier, open to all ages, with the traditional polenta and sausage awaiting participants at the summit.

The 2025 edition of the Dahu Snowshoe Hike renewed the winter tradition of the G.S.R. Castel del Bosco in Roure, in the upper Val Chisone. The non-competitive hike followed the 5-kilometer trail from Castel del Bosco (759 m) to the village of Garnier (1250 m), with an elevation gain of about 500 meters, accessible to everyone with snowshoes or hiking boots. As per tradition, the arrival at the summit was accompanied by polenta and sausage served indoors, in an atmosphere of celebration and alpine conviviality.
