Edition 2025 — Cynara Cupello
The 2025 edition marked a turning point for the historic Cupello festival: the Artichoke Festival officially adopted the name Cynara for its ninth edition. From April 29 to May 4, 2025, Piazza Benicarlò in Cupello (Chieti) hosted food stalls, tastings, and cultural initiatives dedicated to the Mazzaferrata Artichoke.
The event opened on Tuesday, April 29, at 5 PM with the inauguration of the photography exhibition "Emotions between colors and nature" and the opening of the stalls. Over the following days, special color-coded menus dedicated to the artichoke were served for lunch and dinner, alongside a menu designed for children, conferences, live cooking demonstrations, workshops, and live music, confirming the festival as one of the most cherished spring events for the community of Cupello and southern Abruzzo.
