Curtigghiu e Spirdu 2025
The 2025 edition of Curtigghiu e Spirdu took place in Mistretta (ME) on July 25, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM from Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The evening walk through the village streets once again combined urban trekking and popular storytelling, transforming the alleys of the historic center into a journey made of stories, myths, and "spirits" of the local tradition.
The initiative, conceived and narrated by Daniela Dainotti and organized by the Associazione La Valle delle Cascate with the patronage of the Municipality of Mistretta, was part of the Estate Amastratina program. At the end of the walk, participants shared a convivial moment at the Casetta delle Cascate, with the traditional pirsicata made of peaches and wine. The event, free and open to all, was widely acclaimed, confirming its status as one of the most evocative events of the summer in the Nebrodi village.
