Edition 2025 — Cuntrada dal Broeud

In 2025, the Cuntrada dal Broeud renewed the ancient Gallarate tradition of hot broth in the Canton Sordo district, around the feast of the Madonna del Carmine, with a rosary in the courtyards, broth distribution, and a lottery.

The 2025 edition of Cuntrada dal Broeud confirmed the vitality of one of Gallarate's most beloved traditions. In the Canton Sordo district, around July 16th, residents gathered for the recitation of the Holy Rosary in the historic courtyards, the distribution of boiling broth in commemorative cups, and the lottery draw. The festival, born in 1948 and linked to devotion to the Madonna del Carmine, continued to preserve the memory of the neighbourhood's popular solidarity, bringing together the brodari and the many visitors fond of this unique city ritual.
