Cùntarìa 2025 - The Submerged Kingdom

From August 19 to 24, 2025, Stella Cilento hosted the eighth edition of Cùntarìa, built around the theme The Submerged Kingdom. Six days where storytelling, theater, music, and traditional cuisine occupied the squares and alleys of the village, following the 'widespread stage' formula that characterizes the festival.

The program alternated storytelling performances, concerts, theatrical plays, art workshops, and book presentations. Among the musical protagonists of the edition were La Capra Selvatica and Anomali Selvatici, while the closing concert was entrusted to Rittantico. Every evening, starting at 8 PM, the Taverns of Cùntarìa opened, with traditional Cilento dishes served by local families on tables set up in the streets.

The edition was realized by the Pro Loco together with the Cùntarìa association, the Youth Forum, GenerAzione Cuntarìa, and the Municipality of Stella Cilento, confirming the entirely community-based nature of the event.
