Edition 2025 — Culture and Tradition between the Banks of the Tronto
The seventh edition of the festival took place in Martinsicuro from August 22 to 24, 2025, under the patronage of the Abruzzo Region, the Provinces of Teramo and Ascoli Piceno, and the municipalities involved.
The first two days featured Renaissance guided tours in Giulianova, Teramo (with Prof. Alberto Melarangelo), and Ascoli Piceno (with Prof. Stefano Papetti). The final day on August 24, at the Torre Carlo V, hosted the dialogue The Renaissance along the banks of the Tronto between the two scholars, followed by an in-depth look at the ancient peasant ritual of maialatura and a tasting dedicated to pork-based gastronomic traditions, with the collaboration of the Slow Food Terre Teramane and Slow Food Piceno chapters.
