Edition 2025 — Cultivating Culture

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, Palazzo D'Alessandro in Caporciano opened its doors for the fourth edition of Cultivating Culture, as part of the ADSI National Agriculture Day. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the village on the Navelli Plateau hosted a producers' market, guided tours, workshops, and tastings dedicated to the flavors and traditions of inland Abruzzo.

Cultivating Culture 2025

The fourth edition took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Palazzo D'Alessandro in Caporciano, in the province of L'Aquila, among over fifty historic houses participating across fourteen Italian regions.

The program alternated between multimedia storytelling about the castles of Abruzzo, guided tours of the palace, and the opening of the churches of San Benedetto Abate, San Pietro in Valle, and Santa Maria dei Cinturelli. In the afternoon, workshops were held: preparing ferratelle, brass rubbing, and guided honey tasting.

The producers' market offered Navelli Plain saffron, saffron liqueur, honey, cheeses, cured meats, bread, organic oil, craft beers, herbal teas, and spirits, along with local handicrafts. The event was organized by the Associazione Tratturo Magno 101 A.P.S. with the support of the Fondazione CarispAQ.
