Cuddrireddra and PGI Peach Festival of Delia

2025 Edition

The Cuddrireddra and PGI Peach Festival of Delia was held on August 23 and 24, 2025, in Piazza Madrice, in the center of the town in the province of Caltanissetta. The event was part of a rich summer calendar organized by the municipal administration, which had proposed tournaments in the square and the "Summer Carnival" in the preceding days, and which saw the inauguration of the Archaeological and Peasant Civilization Museum and the Delia Medieval Festival in the following weeks.

During the two main days, the village celebrated the cuddrireddra, a crown-shaped Slow Food Presidium pastry, and the PGI Peach of Delia, with food stalls, typical local products, and entertainment, including an evening with a tribute band dedicated to the 883. A festival that confirmed the strong bond of the Delia community with its own food and wine traditions.
