CSOA La Strada Anniversary

«In alto mare», 31 years of La Strada

The 2025 edition of the anniversary took place from Wednesday, October 8 to Saturday, October 11, with a title — In alto mare — In viaggio negli abissi del presente — chosen to navigate the contradictions of the moment and seek new interpretations.

The four days

• Wednesday 8 — La Strada on the street: community dinner at 7:30 PM (sold out), followed by music, art, and socializing all evening.
• Thursday 9 — Memory and resistance: at 6:30 PM, a public assembly on the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Piero Bruno (1975), with a connection to the struggles for Angola's independence; from 9:00 PM, karaoke.
• Friday 10 — On the frontiers of identity: at 6:30 PM, a historical and political meeting on Italian migration to California between the 19th and 20th centuries and the repressive policies of the Trump era, with Tommaso Caiazza, Ilenia Rossini, Luca Celada, and Mattia Diletti.
• Saturday 11 — Rebellious Ireland: at 9:00 PM, the talk «Every word spoken is a bullet fired for freedom», moderated by Matteo Mirabella; at 10:00 PM, screening of the film Kneecap (2024), dedicated to the Irish-language hip-hop group from Belfast.

As always, all initiatives were held in the self-managed spaces of Via Francesco Passino 24, in Rome's Garbatella district.
