Crossover 80

The Crossover 80 festival officially debuts in 2026 as one of the novelties of the Estate Fiorentina. In previous seasons, including the summer of 2025, the City of Florence already offered the extensive Estate Fiorentina program, with hundreds of events including music, theater, cinema, and art in spaces across the city, from Le Murate to Piazza Pitti.

It is in this tradition that Crossover 80 was born, designed to enhance the cultural memory of 1980s Florence and its "Rock Renaissance." The new festival thus synthesizes, in a single thematic project curated by Stazione Utopia, the Tuscan capital's focus on its own alternative scene, pirate radio, and experimental theater that made the city a reference point for Italian musical culture.
