Cross Festival – Contemplating the Invisible

The 2025 edition of the Cross Festival, titled "Tone of Light," brought together over 40 events on Lake Maggiore from June 13 to July 2, under the artistic direction of Antonella Cirigliano. The title evoked that immaterial dimension of transcendence which in art is often translated into golden surfaces, a bridge between contemporary culture and ancient art.

The festival involved numerous local spaces, from the historic Villa Simonetta to the Teatro Il Maggiore, from Casa Elide Ceretti in the Intra district to places dedicated to sacredness such as the Sacro Monte di Ghiffa and the Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre. The opening, dedicated to Indian performing arts with the "Focus India" weekend, gave way to numerous national dance premieres, itinerant performances, and in-depth meetings, confirming the Cross Festival as one of the reference cultural events in Piedmont and the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola area.
