Crocevie 2025: the debut with books, theater, and music
The first edition of Crocevie - Literature and Beyond Festival took place in San Salvo during the autumn-winter of 2025, unfolding through a series of evenings hosted in evocative locations in the center, from the Porta della Terra to the Aldo Moro Cultural Center. The opening night featured the book "Scialacca" by Kristine Maria Rapino, launching a calendar full of author meetings.
Throughout the festival, presentations of works linked to the Abruzzo and Molise territories alternated—including "Stadio Pupa" by Candia Piedigrossi, the meeting "Molise a 2 voci" with Lino Del Cioppo, and "Pronti al decollo" by Grazia Ciavatta—alongside moments of theater, such as the show "Pirandello mi fa un baffo" by Romina Caruana. The festival closed with a well-received medieval music concert, "Laudar Vollio per Amore", performed by the Stella Maris ETS Polyphonic Choir and the Stella Nova Ensemble. A debut that confirmed the multidisciplinary and popular vocation of the event.
