Cristo di Tabelle Festival (Lu Cristu ti Tabelle)

The 2025 edition of the Cristo di Tabelle Festival took place as per tradition on September 14th, the day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, in the hamlet of Tabelle, on the border between Galatone and Galatina, in the Province of Lecce.

The day combined the religious dimension, with celebrations at the small rock-hewn church housing the fresco of the Crucifixion flanked by Saint Peter and Saint Paul, with the community dimension, featuring entertainment, shows, and live music. The festival confirmed its role as an identity-defining event for the Galatone community, linked to the historical roots of one of the ancient settlements of the Salento territory.
