Crinali Festival — Lake Santa Maria Stage (Ocarine di Budrio)

The 2025 edition of the Crinali Festival took place from June to September with dozens of performances spread across many municipalities in the Bolognese Apennines, including theatre, music, puppet theatre, circus, and guided walks.

In Castiglione dei Pepoli, on June 28, 2025, the walk to Lake Santa Maria was accompanied by a concert by Massimo Donno with "La Spada e l'incanto", a song-based reinterpretation of the Canticle of the Creatures by Saint Francis. In the evening, in Piazza della Libertà, the street band Mefisto Brass performed, while on June 29, puppet theatre by Zanubrio Marionettes was staged. The events coincided with the Feast of the Wool and Silk Road.
