Edition 2025 — Crete Senesi Ultramarathon

The 3rd edition of the Crete Senesi Ultramarathon took place in Rapolano Terme from May 2nd to 4th, 2025, confirming the three competitive distances on the trails of the Crete Senesi. Organized by the ASD Gruppo Podistico Riccardo Valenti with the patronage of the Municipality, the race attracted runners from all over Italy for a weekend of sport and Tuscan landscape.

3rd Crete Senesi Ultramarathon (2025)

The 2025 edition, the third of the event, was held in Rapolano Terme, in the province of Siena, from May 2nd to 4th. In this edition as well, the program combined competitive races with side activities throughout the weekend, including an expo of local products, excursions, and social gatherings.

The events were held over the three now-classic distances — 50 km (Crete ULTRA), 30 km (Crete LONG), and 15 km (Crete SHORT) — along the characteristic routes through the badlands and clay hills of the Crete Senesi. The 3rd edition was won by Gabriele Grassi and Lorena Piastra, who were awarded at the Parco dell'Acqua finish line.
