Edition 2025 — Crazy Cartoon Race
The 2025 edition
In 2025, the Canoa Club Turisti per Svago once again brought its fun-filled Crazy Cartoon Race to Lake Gavena, in the municipality of Cerreto Guidi. The playful and eco-friendly formula was confirmed: each crew received cardboard and duct tape to build, in just over two hours, a boat capable of floating and navigating along the course marked out on the lake.
Around the main race, the usual program of side activities was developed: free canoe trials with federal instructors, an art exhibition, the "lo Sbaracco" flea market, a photo contest with prizes, and a food court, all set to the soundtrack of the local web radio station, Quasi Radio. Prizes for the top finishers and the most original boat concluded a day of celebration for the entire Empolese Valdelsa community.
