Edition 2025 — Crayfish and Trout Festival
The 2025 Crayfish and Trout Festival in Bussi sul Tirino was held on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Parco della Quercia Rossa, organized by the local Pro Loco. The food stalls offered traditional dishes based on products from the Tirino River: crayfish in purgatory, trout pasta, chitarra with crayfish, bruschetta, and local wines and beers.
The musical program featured a DJ set on Saturday for dancing late into the night and a live orchestra on Sunday with folk music, while the area dedicated to children and families made the festival suitable for all ages. The event confirmed its role as a key summer appointment for the Tirino Valley in Abruzzo.
