Edition 2025 — Cottora Day

Cottora Day 2025 took place on Sunday, January 5, 2025, in the Rione Paganìa of Barisciano, starting in the evening from 6:00 PM. Organized by the Pro Loco of Barisciano, the event offered a tasting of cottora along with bruschetta, meat and liver sausages, and sagne e patate, all accompanied by wine and beer in an evening dedicated to Abruzzo's gastronomic tradition.

The 2025 edition of Cottora Day brought the Rione Paganìa of Barisciano (AQ) to life on Sunday, January 5, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM. The Pro Loco of Barisciano repeated the successful formula of the festival dedicated to cottora, the local traditional humble dish, served alongside bruschetta with assogna, meat and liver sausages, and sagne e patate. Wine, beer, and spirits accompanied a convivial evening in the heart of inland Abruzzo. Participation, requiring a ticket due to limited seating, confirmed the event's strong appeal, with tickets sold out in the days leading up to the event.
