Cossogno Vertical Kilometer

The 13th edition of the Cossogno Vertical Kilometer was held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM from Parco Ramolino and finishing at the summit of Monte Todum, covering the classic 5.5 km and 1,000 meters of positive elevation gain.

About 145 athletes were at the start, welcomed by a beautiful sunny day. In the men's category, victory went to Rolando Piana (42'18"), ahead of Yoann Caillot (44'22") and Saverio Ottolini (45'35"). Among the women, Daniela Bergamaschi triumphed (56'52"), followed by Alice Pedroni (56'58") and Giulia Saggin (1h01'32").

The event was organized by the Gruppo Sportivo Cossognese together with Avis Marathon Verbania, the Municipality of Cossogno, and local associations, with the traditional communal lunch for athletes and volunteers at the end of the race.
