Edition 2025 — Cortonantiquaria

The 63rd edition of Cortonantiquaria took place from August 23 to September 7, 2025, at the Sant'Agostino Convention Center in Cortona, with the inauguration on August 22. In addition to the antiques stands, the edition featured a rich calendar of lectures, a collateral exhibition at the MAEC dedicated to medieval Cortonese lauds, and a concert season in Piazza Signorelli, culminating in a symphonic concert by Fiorella Mannoia.

Cortonantiquaria 2025 — 63rd edition

The 63rd edition of Cortonantiquaria was held from August 23 to September 7, 2025, at the Sant'Agostino Convention Center in Cortona, with an inauguration ceremony on August 22 in the Cloister.

Events and performances

The program alternated between lectures and grand evenings in the square:

  • Lecture on Luca Signorelli and his circle with art historian Tom Henry (August 24);
  • The collateral exhibition at the MAEC Singing the Middle Ages: The Lauda in Cortona between devotion and civic identity;
  • The jazz concert Mediterrando by Mauro Grossi (September 3);
  • The ballet performance Diamanti: The Stars of Ballet dance in Cortona (September 5);
  • The symphonic concert by Fiorella Mannoia in Piazza Signorelli (September 6);
  • The opera L'elisir d'amore by Donizetti in Piazza della Repubblica to close the event (September 7).

Opening hours were 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM with daily variations, and the full ticket cost 8 euros (reduced 5 euros), with reduced access to the MAEC.

  • September 3, 9:30 PM — Mediterrando, jazz concert with Mauro Grossi (free admission)
  • September 4, 9:30 PM — Award ceremony and Concert by the Carabinieri Band of Rome (free admission)
  • September 5, 9:30 PM — "Diamanti: The Stars of Ballet dance in Cortona", directed by Francesco Borelli (paid)
  • September 6, 9:30 PMFiorella Mannoia "Sinfonica live with orchestra" (paid)
  • September 7, 9:00 PM — "L'elisir d'amore" by Donizetti, Piazza della Repubblica (by reservation)
