The 2025 edition of the Corto e Cultura Film Festival
The eighteenth edition of the Corto e Cultura Film Festival was held in Manfredonia from July 23 to 26, 2025, at the Lega Navale on the seafront, as part of the Manfredonia Festival. The opening night on July 23 hosted the screening of the film "Lo Scarparo," by Anna Rita Caracciolo and Matteo Conoscitore, while July 25 was dedicated to the short films in competition.
The awards gala on July 26, moved to the "C. Serricchio" municipal auditorium due to bad weather, saw the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to maestro Vince Tempera, a celebrated conductor and legendary figure of Italian music. The Best Artist award went to Paolo Rubino for the work "I Sensi del Mare," which combines art and environmental commitment. The 2025 edition was enriched by collaborations with the Corti da Mare International Short Film Festival in Rome, directed by Virginia Barrett, and the Cecinema Festival, under the artistic direction of Mattia Muras.
