From September 5th to 7th, 2025, Piedimonte Matese experienced three days of culture, music, and entertainment with Cortiglie e Borghi in Festa, held between the Vallata district and the San Giovanni village. The program included the city's first live painting competition, the 4th edition of the Enrico Caruso International Festival with the show 'Caruso 2500', and a series of evening concerts, accompanied by architectural lighting, markets, and food stalls along the streets of the historic center.

The 2025 edition between Vallata and San Giovanni

The 2025 edition of Cortiglie e Borghi in Festa, promoted by the Municipality of Piedimonte Matese in collaboration with the parish and the confraternity, took place from Friday, September 5th to Sunday, September 7th.

On Friday the 5th, Via Annunziata hosted musical performances including Acquarello Napoletano, the EVOÈ group, the Movimento Popolare Sannita, and a closing performance by Kalimba De Luna. On Saturday the 6th, starting at 9:00 AM, the Vallata district hosted the first city-wide live painting competition organized by the Le Muse del Matese association; at 7:30 PM, in Piazzetta Annunziata, primary school students presented Radici di pietra: Piedimonte tra sogni e passato, followed at 8:00 PM by L'epoca della Piedigrotta, a journey through classic Neapolitan music. At 9:00 PM, in Piazza Pioppetelli, the 4th edition of the Enrico Caruso International Festival presented Caruso 2500, featuring tenor Vincenzo Costanzo and mezzo-soprano Loredana Ferrante, directed and choreographed by Angelo Parisi, with the female choir Le Drude del Matese and the Summa Danza company.
