Corsa sotto il Castello Race in Avio

The twelfth edition of the Corsa sotto il Castello took place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, through the streets of Avio, with the start and finish at the parish Oratory and races beginning at 10:00 AM. The event, promoted by Junior Sport Avio and included in the CSI calendar, saw over 200 participants at the start, with a large representation of the youth sector divided into the short, medium, and long routes.

On the competitive 5.3-kilometer track (JUN-SEN-AMA-VET categories), victory went to Rocco Caliari (U.S. Quercia) with a time of 18:05, ahead of Mirko Tomasi (U.S. 5 Stelle Seregnano, 18:10) and Nicola Pisoni (A.S.D. G.S. Trilacum, 18:21). A Sunday of sport and community under the Sabbionara Castle, with awards for the various categories.
