Edition 2025 — Corsa delle Botti
The 2025 edition of the Corsa delle Botti and Monferrato in Tavola in Nizza Monferrato was held from Friday, June 6th to Sunday, June 8th, 2025.
Friday evening opened Monferrato in Tavola in Piazza Garibaldi with tastings of traditional dishes. On Saturday, the barrel parade traveled through the center at 11:00 AM, while in the evening, weighing, branding, and qualifying trials took place in Piazza del Municipio. Sunday afternoon featured the decisive races: the semi-final at 4:00 PM and the final at 6:00 PM. The team from Aresca Vini of Mombaruzzo triumphed, beating the Viticoltori of Castelnuovo Calcea. On the menu: black truffle tajarin, hand-cut beef tartare, Barbera risotto, and Bazzanese-style mixed fry, accompanied by Monferrato wines.
