Corsa della Secchia (Three Villages Palio)

The 2025 edition of the Corsa della Secchia renewed the ancient tradition of Bolognola on August 15th, in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains. The three teams, representing Villa da Capo, Villa di Mezzo, and Villa da Piedi, competed by transporting the bucket of water along the village streets, with the result decided by the best balance between running time and conserved water.

As every year, the race organized by the Pro Loco Bolognola represented the highlight of the mid-August festivities, an occasion for the community and the many visitors who choose the Sibillini for their summer holidays to gather.
