Corsa della Secchia (Palio delle tre Ville)

The 2025 edition of the Corsa della Secchia renewed the ancient tradition of Bolognola on Ferragosto, in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains. The three teams, representing Villa da Capo, Villa di Mezzo, and Villa da Piedi, competed by transporting the water bucket along the village streets, with the result decided by the best balance between travel time and water conserved.

As every year, the race organized by the Pro Loco Bolognola was the highlight of the mid-August festivities, an occasion for the community to gather and for the many visitors who choose the Sibillini for their summer holidays.
