Edition 2025 — Corsa della Cuccuascia

The sixth edition of the Corsa della Cuccuascia took place on December 8, 2025, in San Cassiano, in the province of Lecce. For the first time, the running race organized by ASD Tre Casali was held during the winter season, confirming the excellent following gathered over the years among Salento athletes, with the patronage of the Municipality and the approval of the provincial FIDAL.

The 6th Corsa della Cuccuascia was held on December 8, 2025, through the streets of San Cassiano, in lower Salento, marking an important novelty in the history of the event: after the summer editions in August, the race moved to the winter season. The race, valid for FIDAL and included in the Salento running circuits, took place on the usual loop of about 8 kilometers through the town center and the countryside of the Lecce municipality.

Organized by ASD Tre Casali with the patronage of the Municipality of San Cassiano, the race confirmed its vocation as a popular and well-attended event, capable over the years of attracting up to four hundred athletes from all over Puglia, accompanied by the non-competitive fun run open to everyone.
