Corsa degli Zingari 2025
The 2025 edition of the Corsa degli Zingari took place in Pacentro (AQ) over the weekend of September 6 and 7, with a record turnout of over 30,000 spectators. On Saturday, September 6, the festivities opened with a free concert by Fiordaliso and the young Petit, followed by a DJ set.
On Sunday, September 7, after the Corsa degli Zingarelli reserved for children, the competitors tackled the grueling barefoot route from the Pietra Spaccata to the Church of the Madonna di Loreto. Among the 26 participants, 15-year-old Andrea Paletta from Pacentro prevailed, the first in his family to win the Palio, dedicating his triumph to his late grandfather. In the evening, the village celebrated with a performance by Edoardo Vianello.
