Corpus Domini Infiorata of San Donato in Poggio

The 2025 edition of the Corpus Domini Infiorata took place in San Donato in Poggio on the weekend of June 21st and 22nd, with a meeting point on Via del Giglio. On Saturday the 21st, starting at 10:00 AM, the gathering and preparation of flowers and greenery began, followed in the afternoon by the design of the floral carpets.

On Sunday the 22nd, the carpets were completed by the morning; at 12:30 PM, a lunch was held for participants in the gardens of the Romanesque Pieve, and at 5:30 PM, the solemn procession passed through the historic center of the decorated village, confirming a deeply rooted tradition in Chianti.
