Corpus Domini and Flower Carpets of Assisi

The 2025 edition of Corpus Domini in Assisi renewed the tradition of the Infiorate, with flower carpets created by volunteers along the streets of Santa Maria degli Angeli and in the Porta Perlici district.

After the day's Masses, the Eucharistic procession traversed the streets of the hamlet, treading on the petals arranged for the occasion, culminating in the final blessing on the parvis of the Basilica of the Porziuncola. The celebrations also involved the communities of Petrignano and Cannara, in a widespread weekend of popular devotion in the land of Saint Francis.
