About Flower Carpet of Noale
Petals and devotion
The Flower Carpet of Corpus Domini is the tradition that, on the occasion of the Corpus Domini solemnity, transforms the historic center of Noale, in the province of Venice, into a mosaic of floral carpets. A form of ephemeral art made entirely with petals and natural materials, destined to last for the duration of the religious festival.
An artwork over 30 meters long
The heart of the event is the large floral carpet that stretches in front of the pronaos of the Clock Tower, over 30 meters long. It is created by the flower-arrangers of the districts and the Gruppo Tempesta, along with about a hundred volunteers who work for hours on the composition, often dedicated to a theme of the year.
An inclusive festival
A rich program develops around the flower carpet: bell concerts, the "Madonnari for a day" initiative for children, the "Beyond the Visible" activity designed for the blind, and the solemn procession with the Noale Philharmonic Band. The event is promoted by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the districts.
Towards UNESCO recognition
The art of flower arranging, of which Noale is a recognized interpreter, is nominated for UNESCO recognition: the Noale group has also been invited to participate in the Infiorata of Rome in St. Peter's Square. For those visiting the Veneto region, the Infiorata of Noale is an opportunity to admire a floral masterpiece and breathe in the atmosphere of a festival that unites faith, art, and community identity.
Flower Carpet of Noale — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Flower Carpet of Corpus Domini takes place on June 6 and 7 in Noale (VE) and is dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis' death.
The main floral carpet, titled "In the Footsteps of Francis" and over 30 meters long, is set up at the pronaos of the Clock Tower by the flower-arrangers of the districts and the Gruppo Tempesta. The Noale group has also been invited to participate in the Infiorata of Rome in St. Peter's Square on June 28-29.

Noale Flower Carpet 2026 — June 6/7
Saturday, June 6
- 3:30 PM — "Campanò del Corpus Domini", bell concert by the Scampanotadors of Zuglio (UD).
- 6:00 PM — start of the creation of the floral carpet "In the Footsteps of Francis" (over 30 m) at the pronaos of the Clock Tower; volunteers from the Missionary Group arrange flowers on the road between the two medieval towers.
- 9:30 PM — harmonica performance by the Armonia association of Treviso at the Clock Tower.
Sunday, June 7
- 9:30 AM, Piazza Castello — "Madonnari for a day", initiative for children and families.
- 10:00 AM — "Beyond the Visible", inclusive artistic perception activity reserved for the blind.
- 6:30 PM, parish church — Solemn Mass followed by a procession through the streets of the center with the Noale Philharmonic Band.
