Corleone Carnival (I Riavulicchi)

The 2025 edition of the Corleone Carnival confirmed the vitality of one of the most beloved festivals in the Palermo hinterland. The historic center saw a succession of parades of papier-mâché floats and masked groups, enlivened by the marching band and the devilish figures of the riavulicchi.

Highlights included the historic carnival on horseback with knights, musicians, and drummers, the awarding of the Neighborhood Trophy to the best float, and the conclusion with a masquerade ball in the square, the reading of the nannu's testament, and his burning along with the nanna.
