Corato Carnival 2025 — Tribute to the Municipal Theater
The 45th edition of the Corato Carnival celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Municipal Theater of Corato, with a program that combined concerts, workshops, exhibitions, and DJ sets with the traditional masked parades. The event, organized by Pro Loco Quadratum in collaboration with the Municipality of Corato and with the patronage of the Puglia Region and UNPLI Puglia, took place over a long calendar from February 20 to March 9.
The main parades were held on Sunday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 4, with a gathering at 2:30 PM in Via Lama di Grazia and arrival in Piazza Cesare Battisti through the city streets. Over 4,000 participants took part, including all the city's schools and about ten private groups including associations, parishes, and private individuals. Musical guests of the edition included I Cugini di Campagna. The festival concluded on Sunday, March 9, with La Pegnàte and the announcement of the masked competition winners.
