The 2025 edition of the Coppa Sant'Agata confirmed the bond between sport and the patron saint's festival in Catania, with competitions and tournaments spread throughout the city until February 8. Among the symbolic events, the 25th Sant'Agata Football Trophy, which saw the City of Catania representative team on the field alongside the Magistrates and the National Diplomats, and the Sant'Agata Road Running Trophy, contested in the heart of the historic center and won by the Tunisian athlete Amin amidst spectacle and public participation. Numerous athletes were protagonists in various disciplines, from swimming to Paralympic activities, in an event that reaffirmed its inclusive and popular vocation within the context of the Festa di Sant'Agata, in the Municipality of Catania, Sicily.
