The 2025 edition: Laurino wins on penalties
The 44th Coppa Cervati took place in Piaggine, in the province of Salerno, from August 1 to 22, 2025, at the Ciccio Petrone Municipal Stadium. Six teams started, divided into two groups of three: in Group A, Cannalonga, Rofrano nel Cuore, and the defending champion Sacco; in Group B, Piaggine, Laurino, and Villa Littorio. The opening match, on Friday, August 1, saw Sacco face Rofrano nel Cuore.
After the semi-finals on August 21, the final on August 22 saw Laurino triumph over Sacco on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time. Individual awards went to Alberto Gregorio (Laurino) as best goalkeeper, Giuseppe Polito (Sacco) as top scorer, and Gaetano Pipolo (Laurino) as the tournament's best player; the fair play cup was awarded to Rofrano nel Cuore.
The event, promoted by the Pro Loco of Piaggine in collaboration with the Youth Forum and supported by the Municipality led by Mayor Renato Pizzolante, confirmed its role as the most anticipated event of the Cilento summer, with matches also followed via live streaming.
