Edition 2025 — Contropelo

In 2025, the Contropelo festival had not yet been established: the antispeciesist event in Aielli, in the province of L'Aquila, conceived by illustrator Violinoviola and the Libert'aria Association, officially debuts with its first edition in July 2026. Therefore, no edition of the event took place in the Marsica village of murals in 2025.

Contropelo: no edition in 2025

The Contropelo festival did not take place in 2025: the antispeciesist event in Aielli, in the province of L'Aquila, was established as a new cultural event with its first edition scheduled for July 11-12, 2026.

The project, conceived by illustrator Violinoviola together with the Libert'aria Association, which manages the historic center's library, is part of the vibrant cultural life of the village of murals, famous for the Borgo Universo project.
