Controguerra Food and Wine Festival 2025

The 38th edition of the festival was held from July 29 to August 3, 2025, in the historic center of Controguerra (province of Teramo), with stalls open in the evening starting at 7:30 PM. As per tradition, the protagonists were typical Abruzzese dishes: beans and pork rinds, arrosticini of castrato, fried cheese, sweet crepes, and fritters.

The tastings highlighted the wines of the Val Vibrata wineries, from the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Controguerra DOC reds to the Trebbiano whites, along with the extra virgin olive oils of the City of Oil. The evenings were animated by live concerts, shows in the Abruzzese dialect, comedy performances, and workshops for children, confirming the festival as one of the most anticipated summer events in the area.
