Contrade Running Race – Mirko Zengaro Memorial

The 7th edition of the Contrade Running Race – Mirko Zengaro Memorial was held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Roccaspinalveti (CH), Abruzzo. The meeting point was in Piazza del Mercato at 5:00 PM, with the start of the race and the walk set for 7:00 PM.

The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Roccaspinalveti as part of the CSEN circuit, saw the participation of over a hundred runners from clubs such as Podistica Vasto, Runners Casalbordino, and athletes from San Salvo and outside the region. Among the men, Francesco D'Agostino (Parco Alpi Apuane) won with a time of 33:06; among the women, Antonella Mastrangelo (Atletica Velo Club San Salvo) won in 40:16, ahead of her teammate Mara Faieta by just one second. The competitive race took place over 9 km, accompanied by the 4 km scenic walk open to everyone.
