Edition 2025 — Contea

The 2025 edition of Contea took place between April 26 and 28, in the year of Gorizia and Nova Gorica European Capital of Culture. The medieval village in the Public Gardens and the Lombard camp in Borgo Castello animated the city, with jesters, fire-eaters, falconers, and workshops for children.

In 2025, Contea celebrated Gorizia's birthday between April 26 and 28. On Sunday, the medieval village in the Public Gardens offered shows, markets, and activities for children with jesters, fire-eaters, musicians, dancers, falconers, and flag-wavers, while in Borgo Castello, the Invicti Lupi association set up the Lombard camp. Saturday's program was rescheduled due to the solemn funeral of Pope Francis. On Monday, the stamp dedicated to Nova Gorica and Gorizia European Capital of Culture was presented.
