Conero Dance Festival

In 2025, the Conero Dance Festival celebrated its seventeenth edition in Ancona, from July 8 to 20, under the artistic direction of Cristiano Marcelli and with the patronage of the Municipality of Ancona and the Goethe Institut.

The CDF Camp (July 8-12) offered classes in modern, contemporary, and urban dance, while the Wuppertanz Camp (July 16-20) saw participants working with Malou Airaudo and Jean Laurent Sasportes, historic figures from Pina Bausch's Tanztheater Wuppertal. Three evening events were held: the CDF Gala Show in the Courtyard of the Mole Vanvitelliana (July 12), with international guests from New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Malta, and Budapest; the performance Starry Sky at the Roman Amphitheatre (July 15); and the final performance of the Wuppertanz, also at the Roman Amphitheatre (July 20).
