Edition 2025 — Concert for Peace

In previous editions, the Concert for Peace has already brought Ada Gentile's work 'Un'ansia di pace' to the stage of the Ventidio Basso Theatre in Ascoli Piceno, alongside famous pieces from the 20th-century symphonic repertoire. Gentile's composition, after its Roman world premiere, has been performed in numerous Italian and international cities, confirming the Piceno initiative's vocation to combine quality music with a message of peace.

Concert for Peace - Previous Editions

The Concert for Peace at the Ventidio Basso Theatre in Ascoli Piceno is part of a musical and civic journey built over the years by Ascoli-born composer Ada Gentile and the Ascoli Cultura Foundation. Her work 'Un'ansia di pace', with texts by Salvatore Quasimodo and Ivana Manni, has been performed with great success in cities such as Rome, Kiev, St. Petersburg, Beijing, New York, and Ascoli Piceno itself.

The event in the Marche region has consolidated over the years a format that blends symphonic repertoire, reciting voices, and the participation of local choirs, always keeping the theme of peace among peoples at its center.
