Commemoration of the "Sogno di Carzano"

The 2025 Commemoration

In 2025, the Comitato 18 settembre 1917 organized several days in Carzano (Trentino-Alto Adige) dedicated to the memory of those who fell during the "Sogno di Carzano." The calendar opened with the screening of the historical film "1917, il Sogno di Carzano, un'occasione perduta nel Trentino della Grande Guerra" at the multipurpose gym, followed by further screenings, a guided tour of the Great War Museum in Borgo Valsugana, and the public talk "Nella fede un servizio alla pace," featuring Maria Romana De Gasperi, Archduke Martino of Austria-Este, and Father Severino Vareschi. Music was also a highlight, with a concert by the Telve Folkloristic Band.

The official ceremony was held in Piazza Ramorino with honors to the fallen, the flag-raising, a commemorative Holy Mass in the Madonna della Neve Parish Church, and the Bersaglieri Fanfare of Ceggia, in a moving moment of friendship and brotherhood with the relatives of survivors and the fallen from both sides.
